Rabbit and the Crown of Dreams: The Legend of the Jackalope is a story written and illustrated by Jackson Hole painter Amy Ringholz. Rabbit heads west on an adventure, loosely drawn from Amy's own move from Ohio to Jackson Hole, and meets five wildlife characters who stand for the "dream killers" that can get in the way of a creative calling.

Amy calls it an adult book disguised as a children's book, so it makes a thoughtful gift for kids and grown-ups alike. Look closely: a spider hides on every page.
